Who I Am

Upon getting sober in 1983 Hilary Momberger Powers, has been a mentor, writer and public speaker in recovery for over forty years.

She studied with John Bradshaw, a preeminent figure in the field of recovery and dysfunctional families and also worked in the early 90’s as the program manager for the first sober living house for women alcoholics in the United States. This program, which later came to be known as Promises, was instrumental in establishing after care for the recovering alcoholic.

Hilary has also been a life coach for over 30 years, working with hundreds of addicts whose lives have been devastated by alcohol and drug addiction and women through various stages of their growth.

Most people are unaware that Hilary was a well-known child actress, voicing the character of Sally in many of the Charlie Brown cartoons, and working with Charles Schulz and Bill Mendelson.

Hilary will be soon publishing her memoir, “Peanuts to Percocet- Notes on a Hollywood Childhood”, which chronicles her harrowing journey from self-destruction to redemption.

Hilary is available for private mentoring-coaching sessions on site (Florida) or via internet.
